Located in the popular Highland Park neighborhood, Clairmont Pointe was targeted for acquisition because of the possibility to reposition the asset. In its first year of management, Clarus completed rehabilitation projects such as painting the exterior, replacing ironwork, re-sealing and striping the parking lots, and remodeling the laundry facility. Clarus also chose to rename the property and install new signage. The rehabilitation project lasted four months.

A strong southeastern market, Birmingham is still of interest to Clarus even though we no longer manage assets in the city. We continue to monitor the market and we actively seek projects in the region.
