As part of its continued efforts to increase investor wealth and knowledge, Clarus hosted a self-directed IRA seminar for Portland-area investors at the Bank of Oswego on June 17. Attendees learned how to place alternative investments--from international real estate to entire companies to herds of cattle--inside their retirement plans in order to reap the rewards of tax-free and tax-deferred investing. Presenters included PENSCO Trust Company, AKT Wealth Advisors, and Clarus Property Ventures.
